I ordered these organic Muslin Cotton Swaddle Blankets for my Sister. She is having a new baby boy who is due in November. She is extremely adamant about only using products that are organic and refuses any other products that might have been grown with chemicals that could potentially one day harm her children. This is her second child. I don't blame her for choosing to as safe as she could possibly be, she is a very good Mother and nurturer. This organic swaddle blanket set is perfect for either girls or boys. They are very large in size and I love that they are breathable being that most newborns cannot control the temperature of their little bodies and when you live in a very hot place like my Sister does, babies can become little heat boxes and blankets can feel like they are sweltering. The cotton is very strong and thin which will be wonderful for her. It is hard sometimes to keep the baby feeling secure in a swaddle blanket but at the same time controlling their temperature to make sure they are very comfortable. These are perfect for this situation. I have 4 kids of my own and from experience, I felt like I could always use more swaddle blankets. I had several packs and still felt I needed more. They were all I used! These being the large size helps the use of these swaddle blankets become more versatile for multiple uses. A security blanket, a burp cloth, a play mat. These are simply wonderful and are the perfect gift for a new Mother. I am really excited to gift these to my Sister. I received this product at a discount, in exchange for my honest review.
