This bamboo and cotton crib sheet mattress pad is the softest one I have ever felt! I have decided to gift it to my sister who is getting ready to have her first child, a Son! This crib sheet is gender neutral, water-proof, and bug proof! We don't get bed bugs here very often which I consider myself lucky however, when I was in Georgia, I moved into an apartment that no one knew had bed bugs. I read that bed bugs can survive a whole year without any food! So they just hide out until new tenants come in and then they feast. Well the morning I found out, or I became suspicious, was when I woke to find that my babies pajamas had blood on them around the button area. I immediately began looking for other signs which I could not find. The maintenance man of the apartments told me I was wrong, that I didn't have any but I caught one and he finally began treating ,my apartment. I don't wish that experience on anyone so that fact that this is a mattress pad the repels bugs naturally, I am super happy! Especially since we do have spiders here. The product is all natural without pvc or lead or metals that can harm baby so it is super safe! No worries about Allergies because it is hypoallergenic! That is really important in our family because all of our babies have so many allergies and skin sensitivities. I would feel terrible gifting to my sister a product that hurts her baby so quality, such as this one has, is really important. I received this product for free, in exchange for my honest review.
